Seara Whole Chicken - Quality You Can Trust
Why Moola Meat Stocks Seara
At Moola Meat, we stock Seara whole chickens from Brazil because we can trace every single step of their journey - from grandparent breeding to your dinner table. When you choose Seara from our store, you're choosing a product backed by over 60 years of excellence and the world's most rigorous quality standards.
Seara is part of JBS Group, the world's largest chicken and beef producer with more than 235,000 employees globally. This means the whole chickens we stock benefit from world-class resources, expertise, and quality control systems that few suppliers can match.
Farm to Fork - Complete Traceability
The Journey Takes 564 Days
What sets Seara apart is their fully integrated production system. The whole chickens we stock don't just come from contracted farms - they come from a carefully controlled breeding program that takes 564 days from the first grandmother chicken to the final product on our shelves.
Step 1: Superior Genetics (Day 1-25 Weeks)
Seara acquires superior grandmother chickens from Brazil, USA, and England when they're just one day old. These aren't ordinary birds - they're specifically selected to produce large quantities of eggs that hatch into robust chicks with exceptional growth potential. The grandmothers are raised for 25 weeks in controlled environments.
Step 2: The Hatching (21 Days)
Grandmother eggs are transported to Seara's hatcheries and kept under precisely controlled conditions. After 21 days, they hatch into the second generation called "broiler breeders" - the parents of the chickens we stock.
Step 3: Breeding the Parents (25 Weeks)
These broiler breeders are raised at dedicated farms where they're fed and cared for until they reach fertile age at approximately 25 weeks. Every aspect of their environment is managed for ideal lighting, ventilation, temperature, and hygiene.
Step 4: Laying Farms - Creating Your Chicken
When mature, the broiler breeders mate at Seara's laying farms. Their fertilized eggs return to the hatcheries for another 21 days, producing the third generation - the chickens that become your whole chicken.
Step 5: Growing on Partner Farms (39 Days)
Seara partners with more than 9,000 integrated chicken farms throughout Brazil, producing over 5 million chickens daily. When chicks are just one day old, they're received by these carefully selected partner farms where they're raised for an average of 39 days.
What makes this special: The integrated system guarantees constant attention and support. Farmers raise birds according to best production practices while following strict animal welfare guidelines, biosecurity protocols, and animal health procedures. These standards are constantly monitored, guaranteeing traceability from farm to your table.
Step 6: 100% Corn and Grain Diet
All feed is produced at Seara's own feed mills and formulated specifically for each life stage. The diet consists of carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, and vitamins from corn and grain sources - meeting all requirements for natural growth, maintenance, and health. No antibiotics. No hormones. Ever.
Step 7: Certified Halal Slaughter
Animal slaughter occurs at Seara's own facilities with a permanent team of Islamic bleeders. The halal slaughtering complies with Islamic Rites under control and supervision of dedicated Islamic institutions accredited by the GCC Accreditation Centre and Government authorities.
Seara is regularly visited by religious missions from GCC and other Islamic countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Egypt. Each production shipment we receive is accompanied by a Halal Certificate checked and approved by local authorities.
Step 8: Processing & Freezing
The final stage is industrialization - chickens are cut, packaged, and flash-frozen using methods that preserve nutrients and keep natural goodness intact. This freezing technology ensures the chicken stays fresh and tastes as good as fresh chicken while reducing food wastage.
